          Collected Poems
by R. P. Dickey
$30.00

This volume contains 1,050 poems selected by the author form more than 6,000 he wrote between 1958 and 1998.

Many of these poems are implicitly in praise of common sense --- called such not because it is commonly used but because it is commonly available.
This praise is related to the passionate focus of many of the poems on what Dickey calls "the strangeness of the ordinary," in the poem of that title and others which embody his abundantly diverse and often ironic attitudes and insights.
"R. P. Dickey has a voice you can recognized in a high wind on a prairie, or among a crowd trying to push trough a narrow door in a fire, and that voice has varieties of nuance and attack: it does what not all that many poets are able to do..."                                                                             Norman Mailer

How to Face Up to Reality and Enjoy It
By R. P. Dickey, Ph.D.

This Book is about the personal process of discovering how liberty works as the rational non-interference humans give to one another in the absolute sameness of their chooser natures so that their individual differences may flourish in a social atmosphere not of unity but of harmony: Love, tolerance, initiative, and creativity.
