Thanks for visiting my
Web Site. I am a professional woodcarver and sculpture living just
outside of Taos, New Mexico (yes we are a state in the
United States). As a professional woodcarver, I have been supplying
custom hand carved works of art to my clients since 1976.

Besides being both a graphic and
fine artist I am heavily involved in solar and wind energy.
Whether I am doing art work or selling solar products, I make my living from folks just like you.
Whereas most graphic artists and solar companies operate in big metropolitan areas, I on the
other hand have
chosen to live in the middle of nowhere and I mean nowhere. When I do have to go into town
to pick up supplies, this is
what I get to see along my way.
As you can see, by my
living is such a remote location I have come to rely on doing business
over the Internet. So I invite you to view my art work and my many
carve signs. I would also like to
encourage you to shop at my on-line
Solar Catalog or Store and help
keep the Solar Ranch out of the greasy little hands of the bank.
About my art, I specialize in original works of art
and
commissions such as carousel animals, rocking horses,
spiritual and religious carved works, carving restoration, and
Exquisite Hand Carved Signs.
As a graphic
designer I have designed logos, company images, advertising,
brochures and the like. When I couldn't find any
publishers interested in publishing my carving book, I used
my skills to publish it myself. And when it came time
to republish it, I did. I have now published four
books which can be found at
Wolff Publishing
Works.
While
recovering after a little skiing mishap in 1994 which kept
me on crutches for the better part of a year, I added Web
Designing to my commercial and marketing skills. Today
I have a few accounts but mainly just work at it to keep my sites up
and running.
Now in the
21st century of I
split my time between carving, antique restoration,
knife
making, selling solar
products, completing the house I built for my wife
Linda and myself. And if there is any time leftover
for fun I enjoy reading, white water rafting, biking,
hiking, skiing and of course recuperating when necessary.
